Hamid Mir's official twitter account hacked
Hamid Mir’s official verified twitter account has been compromised. Multiple tweets were posted by the hackers who gained access to his twitter and email account.
ISLAMABAD: On Tuesday a little after 6:30 PM senior Pakistani journalist, columnist and Geo News’ leading talk show host Hamid Mir’s official verified twitter account was compromised and multiple tweets were posted by the hackers who gained access to his twitter and email account.
It is common knowledge that Hamid Mir is away on annual leave and for the same reason has not been on the Geo News screen to host his show Capital Talk.
Confirming that Hamid Mir’s account has been hacked Director News Geo News Rana Jawad added that Mir’s mobile phones have been blocked to prevent access.
In the mean time, we request Hamid Mir’s followers not to take any of the tweets posted after 6:30PM on Tuesday the 8th of December to be information shared or posted by Hamid Mir.
