RAWALPINDI: Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General (DG) Major General Asim Saleem Bajwa said on Saturday that the armed forces of Pakistan together with the whole nation defeated a much bigger enemy in 1965 and shattered its dreams.
In his tweet, he said that the spirit of 1965 remained kindled today and we move towards a stronger, more stable and prosperous Pakistan.
He said: “Golden jubilee of the Defence Day preparations are in full swing and a ceremony is being held to pay tribute to the martyrs of Pakistan on Sunday at Shuahada Monument.”
“This is a day of resilience and unflinching resolve. Our armed forces together with the whole nation defeated a much bigger enemy and shattered its dreams,” he said.
