ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held a meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif on Friday to discuss matters related to the internal security of the country.
Sources said the two leaders discussed the security of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and related projects.
The sources said that matters relating to the ongoing Operation Zarb-e-Azb and other issues pertaining to the internal security situation also came up during the meeting.
The two leaders also exchanged views on speeding up implementation of the National Action Plan, the sources added.
