QUETTA: Imran Gichki, the staff officer of former Chief Minister Balochistan Aslam Raisani, had managed to flee owing to the fault of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) raiding team a few days back, sources revealed Thursday.
The NAB team had conducted a raid at Imran Gichki’s residence and seized foreign currency and several bags of gold, however, the accused had dodged the raiding team and managed to escape.
Sources disclosed that the NAB team failed to enter Imran’s house for 35 minutes despite having arrest warrants as well as lady police assistance.
At least seven women and a man from Imran’s family engaged the raiding team in negotiations when the accused managed to run away.
