LONDON: Pakistan’s one of the senior most law experts, Abdul Hafeez Pirzada died at the age of 75 in London where he was under medical treatment for some time.
Born in 1941, Pirzada was one of the founding members of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and provided his legal services as an advisor and aid to Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto – the former prime minister of Pakistan.
Hafeez Pirzada also served as federal law minister and a member of a committee that drafted 1973 Constitution of Pakistan.
He had also played an important role as a part the legal team that fought Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s case in late 70s.
