ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal while claiming Thursday that the law and order situation in Karachi and Balochistan has witnessed marked improvement said a change has come to Pakistan.
Addressing the CEOs award ceremony here, the Federal Minister said Forbes Magazine in 2013 had declared Pakistan a dangerous country and the same magazine in 2015 termed Pakistan a next success story.
He said Pakistan would itself arrange finance for China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project by seeking an assistance of 6 billion dollars on easy installments. The rest of 40 billion dollars would be contributed by the Chinese companies, he added.
"China has emerged as the biggest source of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) in Pakistan," he added.
The Federal Minister said Forbes, in 2013, had declared Pakistan a dangerous country and now it says Pakistan is on its way to become a model of development.
CEOs of various companies were conferred awards to acknowledge their outstanding capabilities of leadership.
