NA-122 by-poll: ECP appoints Regional Election Commissioner Bannu as DRO
LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced to hold the by-election in Lahore and Lodhran constituencies under the supervision of civil officers instead of judiciary.
According to a notification issued by the electoral body, Regional Election Commissioner Bannu Ahmed Nawaz and District Election Officer Muzaffargarh Zafar Iqbal have been appointed District Returning Officer and Returning Officer respectively.

LAHORE: The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced to hold the by-election in Lahore and Lodhran constituencies under the supervision of civil officers instead of judiciary.
According to a notification issued by the electoral body, Regional Election Commissioner Bannu Ahmed Nawaz and District Election Officer Muzaffargarh Zafar Iqbal have been appointed District Returning Officer and Returning Officer respectively.
The ECP has appointed Assistant Commissioner City Lahore, Deputy District Education Officer Model Town Lahore and Election Officer Faisalabad as Assistant Returning officers for the by elections.
According to election schedule nomination papers for NA-122 could be submitted from 10 to 11 September.
Scrutiny of the nomination papers would be conducted on September 14 while the candidates would be able to withdraw their nomination papers till September 21.
Polling would be held on October 11.
