Five accused killed in overnight police operations in Karachi
KARACHI: At least five accused were killed and 15 others injured in various overnight police operations in different areas of Karachi.
On a tip-off, police party reached in Rizvia society near Lyari river, where exchange of fire took place with suspects. Two accused were killed and arms recovered during the action.

KARACHI: At least five accused were killed and 15 others injured in various overnight police operations in different areas of Karachi.
On a tip-off, police party reached in Rizvia society near Lyari river, where exchange of fire took place with suspects. Two accused were killed and arms recovered during the action.
On the information about presence of accused, Anti-Car Lifting Cell (ACLC) started snap checking in Khairabad area of Manghopir. The accused opened fire on the ACLC personnel when then signaled two motorcyclists to stop .In retaliation both the accused were killed.
Police seized arms and snatched motorcycle from their custody.
Separately, an accused was killed in police shootout in Awami colony of Korangi.
Other 15 accused were nabbed from Zaman town, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block 13/D and East Zone areas.
