Two dacoits killed, two arrested in police encounters in Karachi
KARACHI: Two dacoits were killed and two others arrested after alleged police encounters in various localities of Karachi.
Police said, two dacoits were killed in exchange of fire with law enforcers in Qayyumabad within the limits of Korangi Industrial area. Two pistols, handbag, mobile phone and snatched motorcycle were recovered from their possession, they added.

KARACHI: Two dacoits were killed and two others arrested after alleged police encounters in various localities of Karachi.
Police said, two dacoits were killed in exchange of fire with law enforcers in Qayyumabad within the limits of Korangi Industrial area. Two pistols, handbag, mobile phone and snatched motorcycle were recovered from their possession, they added.
The accused were involved in various cases of street crimes and dacoity.
Separately, Noman, a dacoit who was injured in police shootout in Gulshan-e-Iqbal Block-V, was arrested, while his comrade Zeeshan managed to escape, said SP Abid Qaimkhani.
Police seized arms, cash, ATM card and motorcycle from the custody of the injured dacoit.
Also in PIB colony, a dacoit was arrested in injured condition after exchange of fire with police.
