LAHORE: Following major crackdown against suspected corrupt officials in Sindh, Director General (DG) of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Punjab, Major (retd) Burhan Ali on Friday said ‘big fish’ in the province will soon be brought to justice.
Speaking to media representatives while distributing Rs20.69 million among the stock exchange afectees at his office here, he said an impartial action will be taken against the corrupt elements.
Ali said the corrupt elements were being surrounded, claiming that Rs25 billion have been recovered from the corrupt government officials from across the country thus far.
“Soon, action will be taken against big fish in Punjab also,” he concluded.
