Three PWD officials arrested over graft charges
PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Wednesday arrested three officials of Peshawar Public Works Department (PWD) over charges of involvement in corruption of Rs 190 million.
According to NAB, the arrested officials are: Muhammad Asif, Iftikharullah and Abdul Wahab.
“These officials were involved in corruption of Rs.190 million in various water supply schemes,” NAB said.

Riaz Shoaib, a contractor of water supply schemes, was also taken into custody.
All the accused will be presented before the accountability court tomorrow where NAB will seek their physical remand.
