RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff, General Raheel Sharif spent Thursday with troops in Shawal to review the ongoing military ground offensive against militants.
During his visit the Army Chief commended the troops for the speed and gains of the operations.

The Army Chief directed troops to comprehensively cleanse the terrorists from their hideouts, to reduce the isolated terrorists to their size and to sever their links with their abettors.
The COAS commended the troops for clearing the heights and occupying the main features and sanitizing the valley.
DG ISPR quoted the Army Chief to have said the he “won’t allow anyone to kill our people, children in this country.” Adding that faces of all those who helped the terrorists will at any stage will be exposed.
