Recounting, verification for NA-122 ballot papers complete
LAHORE: On the orders of Lahore Election Tribunal, the special commission completed its recount and verification process for NA-122 ballot papers and associated records, on Saturday.
The commission will submit its report to the tribunal in the coming week.

LAHORE: On the orders of Lahore Election Tribunal, the special commission completed its recount and verification process for NA-122 ballot papers and associated records, on Saturday.
The commission will submit its report to the tribunal in the coming week.
According to sources, the findings established by the commission put the recount for National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq higher than the original numbers.
Ayaz Sadiq was originally ahead of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Chairman Imran Khan by 8872 votes.
According to the recount, Ayaz Sadiq's votes were pushed up by another 135, making him win by 9007 votes.
Upon Imran Khan’s request, a special commission had been setup by the Election Tribunal for the recounting and verification for NA-122 ballot papers. The commission completed its findings in the presence of the representatives of both candidates.
