Gen. Raheel visits Shawal Valley to review Zarb-e-Azb
RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has left for a visit to Shawal area of North Waziristan Agency to review the ongoing military operation after launch of ground offensive against the militants.
According to DG Inter-Services Public Relations Major-General Asim Bajwa on Thursday, the army chief will also meet the troops engaged in fight against militants.

RAWALPINDI: The Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has left for a visit to Shawal area of North Waziristan Agency to review the ongoing military operation after launch of ground offensive against the militants.
According to DG Inter-Services Public Relations Major-General Asim Bajwa on Thursday, the army chief will also meet the troops engaged in fight against militants.
After heavy air strikes by fighter jets for the last one-and-a-half years, the military announced last Thursday that it has launched a ground offensive against local and foreign militants in the remote and mountainous Shawal Valley of North Waziristan.
