ISTANBUL: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Wednesday said Pakistan is fully capable of defending itself from Indian aggression.
In a statement issued here, Asif said the extremist mentality with which Narendra Modi soared to great heights, the same mentality has now triggered his fall.
“If India exhibits good intentions, Pakistan also desire amicable ties with its neighbouring country,” he said.
He said India itself spoiled the atmosphere and created distances, adding every effort that can be made for peace must be undertaken.
Commenting on Russia-Turkey tension, the Pakistani Defence Minister said in case the two countries came face-to-face, it would only go into the advantage of the Deash.
