LAHORE: An accountability court sent former PPP Punjab President Qasim Zia to prison on 14 day judicial remand.
Zia was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials and is accused of committing stock market fraud of over Rs100 million.

LAHORE: An accountability court sent former PPP Punjab President Qasim Zia to prison on 14 day judicial remand.
Zia was arrested by National Accountability Bureau (NAB) officials and is accused of committing stock market fraud of over Rs100 million.
Qasim Zia and his partner Usman Saeed were arrested by NAB in on August 08. Zia and others are accused of selling fraudulent shares and committing stock market fraud through a company.
Before entering politics Qasim Zia played hockey for 7 years representing Pakistan and holds and Olympic Gold medal.
He has also served as the former chairman of the Pakistan Hockey Federation.
Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Khursheed Shah said Qasim Zia was being victimised for not switching his political loyalties.
