Security forces foil attack in Bannu, kill eight terrorists

BANNU: Security forces thwarted an attack on security check-post in Bannu and killed at least eight terrorists, sources said.

According to security sources, the armed militants launched attack on Khadim Shaheed check-post in Daryoba area of Bannu, triggering exchange of fire with forces. At least eight terrorists were killed in retaliation.

Security forces have launched search operation in the area following the attack.
