Plan to attack Asif, Nisar, and other major politicians foiled
ISLAMABAD: A major plan of attack intended to target four federal ministers and one MNA has been thwarted, according to security forces sources.
Sources said that Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief, Sheikh Rasheed were the planned targets.

ISLAMABAD: A major plan of attack intended to target four federal ministers and one MNA has been thwarted, according to security forces sources.
Sources said that Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique, Petroleum Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, and Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief, Sheikh Rasheed were the planned targets.
The attack plan came to light following rounding up of 30 suspected terrorists from Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Taxila by security forces.
According to security forces sources, the suspects taken into custody belong to banned organisations.
