A Non-Profitable Organization (NGO) had been running the Government Islamia High School, located in Bhati Gate area, for several years and the city district government has now decided to take it into its custody.
Refusing the decision, parents and students took to the streets and raised slogans against the city government.
Police took action in its particular way as a result of which a student was injured and later taken to nearby hospital for treatment.
Receiving information of the incident, SSP City Asad Sarfaraz arrived at the said school and extended apology to the students over police action.
