RAWALPINDI: Funeral prayers of the military personnel killed in a helicopter crash on Thursday have been offered in Chaklala.
“Chief of Army Staff, Chief of Naval Staff, Chief of Air Staff and a large number of high ranking serving and retired officers and other ranks from three services, people from all walks of life and relatives of Shuhada attended the Namaze Jinaza, said a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
At least 12 Army personnel, including five Majors, were killed in the Army Aviation MI-17 helicopter crash near Lassan Nawab area of Mansehra Thursday evening.
