ROJHAN: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan on Monday strongly criticised the Pakistan Muslim league-Nawaz (PML-N) leadership during his visit to flood hit areas of South Punjab.
Addressing flood victims in Rojhan, Khan said Sharif brothers are reigning Punjab from their throne in Lahore, showing complete apathy towards remote areas of the province.
He said the government did not take any measures to avert damage in flood affected Rahim Yar Khan and Rojhan.
“There should be a will not money to protect peasants who have been afflicted during the last two years ,” he said.
Mr Khan said the government was focused on projects like Metro bus instead of building embankments to prevent floods.
"Perhaps metro bus projects offer more kickbacks than building of embankments,” he added.
Speaking on the occasion, Imran Khan expressed resolve to fight for the rights and needs of common Pakistani.
