PM Nawaz, Turkish president Erdogan hold meeting
ISLAMABAD:Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Saturday landed in the Pakistan capital and held a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
The two leaders discussed further promotion of bilateral relations besides global and international issues of mutual interests.
Earlier, PM Nawaz Sharif received the Turkish president upon his arrival here.
This is Erdogan's first visit to Islamabad as the President of Turkey.

This is Erdogan's first visit to Islamabad as the President of Turkey.
Earlier, he had visited Lahore and Islamabad in December, 2013 as the Prime Minister of Turkey. This was his seventh visit to Pakistan in last 10 years signifying substantial growth and strengthening of relations under his government.
