QUETTA: Nine commanders of a proscribed outfit were killed in exchange of fire with Frontier Corps (FC) during search operation in district Awaran of Balochistan province.
According to Balochistan Home Department, paramilitary force, on the information about the presence of criminals, launched search operation in Awaran. On seeing the FC personnel, the miscreants opened fire and in retaliation nine commanders of the banned outfit were killed.
The FC seized large cache of arms and explosives from the possession of the miscreants.
The Home Department has claimed that those commanders, killed during search operation, were involved in the killing of 44 FWO personnel besides Mastung and Turbat incidents.
