Rehman Khan meets heat-wave victims in Karachi hospital

KARACHI: Reham Khan, the better half of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan, on Saturday criticized the Sindh government, saying what is the use of the government if people have to depend on welfare organizations.
Talking to newsmen on her arrival to Karachi, Reham Khan said she came to the port city to express sympathy with those who died of heat-wave and not for playing politics.
"Hundreds of people fell prey to the heat-wave but the provincial government did not fulfill its responsibilities", Reham lamented.
She said there is no use of having a provincial and federal governments if people have to rely on welfare organizations, adding the people of Karachi were being ignored like those of Thar.
Reham Khan, flanked by PTI leaders Imran Ismail and Faisal Vawda, visited the Jinnah Hospital where she met the patients of heat-wave and enquired about the facilities available in the hospital.
Talking to the media men, Imran Ismail said his party was raising voice against the Sindh government on every platform.
He said Imran Khan will also visit Karachi and attend an Iftar dinner to collect funds for Shukat Khanam Memorial Hospital.
