ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United National Dr Maleeha Lodhi met with officials from the Foreign Office here on Tuesday.
Pakistan’s strategy regarding Indian interference, MQM funding and statements of Narendra Modi was discussed during the meeting.
It is expected that Dr Lodhi will take approval for the strategy during her meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Approval for the draft of the letter which will be sent to UN Chief Ban ki Moon will also be taken in this meeting.
The government decided to take the issue of Indian interference in Pakistan to the United Nations, sources privy to the matter told Geo News on Monday. The government had summoned Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr Maleeha Lodhi to the federal capital for discussion before the issue is raised in the UN.
