KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Local Government, Sharjeel Inam Memon has suspended 37 Taluka Municipal Officers (TMOs) for not providing audit details of the funds.
On September 22, last year, 109 TMOs were served show-cause notices of them 72 provided audit details of the funds to Secretary Local Government while 37 failed to give details of the funds despite passage of seven months.
On the other hand, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah has issued orders to lodge corruption cases against the 37 suspended TMOs.
