Cow thieves get served some Multani justice
MULTAN: Residents of Karimabad nabbed three criminals on Monday and served them some citizen justice before handing them over to the police.
Ghullam Shabbir, Ali Sher and Imran armed with a pistol were busy stealing a cow in Karmiabad on the outskirts of Multan, when area residents overpowered them and gave them a beating.

MULTAN: Residents of Karimabad nabbed three criminals on Monday and served them some citizen justice before handing them over to the police.
Ghullam Shabbir, Ali Sher and Imran armed with a pistol were busy stealing a cow in Karmiabad on the outskirts of Multan, when area residents overpowered them and gave them a beating.
A Police party from the Alpa police station arrived on the scene and confiscated the weapon but refused to arrest the three criminals.
According to sources, the police was apprehensive towards arresting cow thieves but due to the area-residents pressure they eventually took the criminals to the police station.
