ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Monday alleged that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) was in cahoots with the PML-N.
Speaking to media after hearing of the judicial commission formed to probe election rigging, Khan said the ECP had shifted its position, hidden material and mislead the judicial commission.
“They (ECP) in the beginning gave us the impression of remaining neutral but there has been no neutrality in what has happened inside the court. They had coordination with the N-League.”
Khan further said his party had provided evidence to the judicial commission.
Earlier, PTI lawyer Abdul Hafeez Pirzada appeared before the judicial commission and said there will be re-election if it is proven there was strategic rigging. He added elections not being transparent was the biggest proof of rigging.
