ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif chaired a high level meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Energy on Thursday in Islamabad.
The Secretary Water and Power, Younus Dagha briefed the meeting regarding load management in Ramazan.
According to sources, the power crisis in Karachi as well as matters relating to K-Electric were also discussed during the meeting.

According to sources, the power crisis in Karachi as well as matters relating to K-Electric were also discussed during the meeting.
Amongst other things reviewed, was the electricity demand and supply situation from 2015 to 2018, as well as the transmission and distribution of electricity.
Also discussed were alternative methods to produce power, including water, nuclear, wind, solar and LNG.
