LDA Director among seven shot dead in Karachi
KARACHI: At least seven people including Deputy Director Land Lyari Development Authority and two policemen were shot dead in the fresh wave of violence in the city on Sunday.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on a double cabin vehicle near Urdu Science University in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, injuring Detector Land Lyari Development Authority Sohail Bhatti and Deputy Director Talat Yousuf.

KARACHI: At least seven people including Deputy Director Land Lyari Development Authority and two policemen were shot dead in the fresh wave of violence in the city on Sunday.
Unknown gunmen opened fire on a double cabin vehicle near Urdu Science University in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, injuring Detector Land Lyari Development Authority Sohail Bhatti and Deputy Director Talat Yousuf.
The injured were moved to a hospital where they succumbed to their injuries. Five other people including two policemen also lost their lives in different parts of the city in the violence.
MQM chief Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the killings and demanded of the federal government to impose martial law in Sindh as the provincial government had failed in maintaining peace in the city.
