LAHORE: In a shocking development, an accused of fraud escaped from the premises of Lahore High Court (LHC) by dodging the personnel of Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
The accused identified as Faiz faced charges of fraud for his alleged involvement in using bogus cheques.
The LHC today dismissed Faiz’s petition for bail and as a result he began to raise hue and cry. To make him stop, the FIA officials handcuffed the accused. On this, Faiz started protesting and lied on the floor. The FIA officials started dragging him which created quite a scene, drawing a large number of onlookers including lawyers.
The accused took advantage of this situation and succeeded in sneaking his way out of the court’s premises.
