MPAs in Sindh Assembly demand FIR against K-Electric
KARACHI: Parliamentarians during the Sindh Assembly session on Monday lashed out against the prolonged and unannounced load-shedding in Karachi as well as other cities of the province.
They demanded that and FIR be lodged against K-Electric, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Khurrum Sher Zaman said that an FIR should also be filed against the Sindh government.

KARACHI: Parliamentarians during the Sindh Assembly session on Monday lashed out against the prolonged and unannounced load-shedding in Karachi as well as other cities of the province.
They demanded that and FIR be lodged against K-Electric, while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Khurrum Sher Zaman said that an FIR should also be filed against the Sindh government.
Muttahida Qaumi Movement's (MQM) Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, Opposition Leader in the Sindh Assembly, requested that the air conditioners of the Sindh Assembly should be shut for at least an hour.
Provincial Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah threatened the federal government with a sit-in in Islamabad if load-shedding in Karachi and other areas of Sindh was not controlled.
He added that in rural areas of the province, up to 22 hours of load-shedding is being carried out.
