The Election tribunal had ordered re-polling in the 33 polling stations of the constituency after rigging was proved.
An approximated 52,550 voters exercised their right to vote.
There are two main candidates in the constituency, Ashraf Warriach of the PML-N who had won this seat in 2013 and Nasir Cheema from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Meanwhile, PML-N’s Zahid Arif aka Tumma Butt who had earlier been arrested by security officers for allegedly trying to enter into a women’s polling station was granted bail and also released later today.
According to sources, the accused had gotten into an argument with the police personnel as according to them they forbade the PML-N leader from entering the station but he did not listen to them.
