GUJRANWALA: A most gruesome and bone-chilling double murder took place in Dhalanwali village where a father slaughtered his daughters on Saturday.
The man identified as Shafaqat had a quarrel with his paternal uncle on Friday night, upon returning home he then fought with his wife Shazia. The argument escalated quickly and Shafqat took his anger out on his daughters; 2-year-old Iman and 7-month-old Haram could not have imagined that their own father was capable of anything other than loving them and protecting them.
Shafqat slaughtered Imran and Haram with a sharp tool and then attacked his wife and brother injuring them as well.
The police arrested Shafqat and has recovered the murder weapon.
