ANF Operation, 3 arrested, 2758 kg Hashish seized

KARACHI: The Anti Narcotics Force (ANF),Sindh seized nearly 3 tons of high quality hashish and opium in raids on Thursday.

According to the ANF, 2758 kilograms of high quality Hashish and 55 kilograms of opium were seized in an intelligence based operation.

The ANF intercepted a bus (Reg. TK-4042) on the Hub River road and recovered the contraband and apprehended three criminals including a Sub-Inspector of the Police.

According to the ANF, the drugs were cleverly concealed in secret compartments inside the vehicle.

Cases have been registered against the accused and raids are being conducted to apprehend the syndicate involved, the ANF added.
