Peshawar Police seize arms cache bound for Punjab
PESHAWAR: Acting on tip-off, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police recovered a cache of arms being transported to Punjab on Tuesday.
According to the police, they seized 8 automatic assault rifles, 3 pump-action repeaters and 17,000 rounds of ammunition from the Islamabad registered vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle has been arrested and interrogation is underway, according to SSP Rural Shakir Bangash.
