Security forces kill 10 terrorists in North Waziristan operation: ISPR
PESHAWAR: At least 10 militants were killed in the wee hours of Thursday in a cordon and search operation in restive North Waziristan tribal agency near the Afghan border, the military said.

PESHAWAR: At least 10 militants were killed in the wee hours of Thursday in a cordon and search operation in restive North Waziristan tribal agency near the Afghan border, the military said.
According to a spokesman of the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation was carried out in an area ahead of Dattakhel, close to the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
The late night operation came hours after security forces said they killed Haji Ilyas Gul, a wanted terrorist, in an intelligence-based operation in Spin Khawrah area bordered by Bannu and North Waziristan.
The ISPR said four of Gul’s accomplices, who were involved in various terrorist activities, were also killed in the operation.
