BAHAWALNAGAR: Five members of a family were killed and seven others injured in head-on collision between a passenger van and trailer truck early on Monday.
Police said the ill-fated van was going to Haroonabad from Chichawatni when it collided with a trailer truck near Chak 4-69 R. As a result five people including two men were killed and seven others were injured.
The injured were rushed to Tehsil Hospital Haroonabad.
Two of the wounded succumbed to their injuries during medical treatment at the hospital, raising the death toll to seven.
