KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Amir Khan who was booked on charges of providing shelter to miscreants was shifted from the Central Jail in Karachi to the Gulberg police station under tight security.
Khan was booked after a complaint (No 15/176) was lodged at the Azizabad police station by the Sindh Rangers paramilitary force. The case against Khan was registered under section 21J, 11V and 7ATV.

Aamir Khan was taken into custody by the paramilitary force during a raid conducted at the MQM headquarters Nine-Zero in March this year.
