KARACHI: International and domestic flights to and from Jinnah International Airport were suspended due to zero-visibility caused by a dust-storm on Wednesday.
The airport was reopened for flights a little before 7:45PM.
Earlier, flights coming to Karachi were diverted or asked to maintain holding pattern according to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).
A dust-storm had been forecast by the Pakistan Meteorological Department for Thursday which is likely to be followed by rain-fall.
Meanwhile, advertisement hoardings and electricity poles fell down in Hyderabad as few Sindh cities receive first torrential rains of summer earlier today.
