KARACHI: Axact’s central server was being hosted from United Arab Emirates, disclosed a latest finding of the ongoing investigation into the company’s fake degrees scandal.
Sources say that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has requested the UAE administration in writing to allow access to the content of the server.
The FIA has also decoded the email records of Axact’s employees.
Sources further reveal that a secret surveillance system had been put in place at Axact. So much so that the employees did not even have permission to speak one another on the same floor of the company’s building.
If a staff member had to visit the rest room, he would have to take permission via email from the head office in Karachi.
