KARACHI: Geo News program ‘Aaj Shahzeb Khanzada Kay Sath’ in an inadvertent mistake showed a map that did not show Kashmir as part of Pakistan and apologised for the same whereas there is a list of other channels and websites that committed greater blunders and offered no apology.
Shahzeb Khanzada in today's program showed that ARY had made a bigger mistake, displaying a map that showed Kashmir as part of India.
ARY TV Channel, that has become a self-proclaimed champion of patriotism, had been selling the propaganda that Geo News anchor Shahzeb Khanzada showed Kashmir out of Pakistan.
Shahzeb in today's program also showed that the map displayed in his program had also been carried by News One, Channel 24 and the website of Dawn (Dawn.com).
Khanzada said such controversial maps had been shown on other channels as well including Jaag TV. He said such a map had also been flashed in Ahmed Qureshi’s program on Express News and the host later also apologised for the same.
“Despite all these blunders and silence of the so-called channel, we did not label them as traitors,” he said.
