LAHORE: Commuters in various cities of Punjab including Islamabad, Lahore, and Faisalabad faced hardship on Friday due to a severe dearth of petrol at most fuel stations.
According to reports, citizens with vehicles and motorbikes have been travelling long distances from pump to pump trying to find fuel without luck.
Most petrol pumps in Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Jhelum are shut, while the few that are to be found open have extremely long queues.
According to commuters, they are also being faced with exorbitant prices for the rare fuel that is available. Commuters have called for strict and immediate action against those responsible for this problem.
