KARACHI: The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) on Saturday extend the interim bail of former Sindh Home Minister Dr Zulfiqar Mirza and his associates till June 10.
Mirza appeared before the ATC to seek extension in the interim bail, which the court accepted in the cases lodged against him and his aides. Earlier, the court had his bail till May 29.
Meanwhile, the court has also issued notice to former Sindh Home Minister and the provincial government for June 10 over the plea to seize the passport of Mirza.
In the petition, filed by traders of Badin, they contended that if Mirza flees abroad he will never return, therefore, he should be barred from leaving the country till cases against him were under proceedings.
