MQM presents shadow budget
ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday presented its shadow budget ahead of the announcement of federal budget 2015-16.
“Our shadow budget is a true representative of the aspirations of the people of Pakistan,” said MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar while presenting his party’s shadow budget during a press conference here at National Press Club.

Dr Sattar was flanked by Rasheed Godail, Senator Saif and other MQM leaders.
He said the MQM’s shadow budget is reflective of his party chief Altaf Hussain’s ideology and vision.
He said Pakistan is currently going through serious economic crisis.
“MQM wants to see Pakistan as a welfare state in both letter and spirit. This is how Quad-e-Azam had envisioned Pakistan,” he added.
