ISLAMABAD: An accountability court in Rawalpindi on Thursday cleared Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Shairf in the Ittefaq Foundries case.

ISLAMABAD: An accountability court in Rawalpindi on Thursday cleared Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Shairf in the Ittefaq Foundries case.
Rejecting a request by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) to reopen the reference, accountability court judge Sohail Nasir cleared the prime minister, his brother Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, their deceased brother Abbas Sharif and late father Mohammad Sharif in the case.
The case was originally filed in 2001 against the Sharif family.
