SHO's resign in protest against DPO’s removal over Daska episode
DASKA: SHOs and inspectors of police department from Sialkot district have announced to relinquish their posts in protest against removal of District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Asif Shehzad in the aftermath of May 25 killing of two lawyers in Daska Tehsil.
The DPO , however, urged the police officers not to stop their work over his removal from the post.

DASKA: SHOs and inspectors of police department from Sialkot district have announced to relinquish their posts in protest against removal of District Police Officer (DPO) Dr Asif Shehzad in the aftermath of May 25 killing of two lawyers in Daska Tehsil.
The DPO , however, urged the police officers not to stop their work over his removal from the post.
Shahzad Warraich, former SHO of Daska City Police Station, allegedly gunned down two lawyers including the president of the local bar association on 25.
Warraich is accused of killing Rana Khalid Abbas, the president of the Daska bar association, and lawyer Irfan Chauhan after an altercation with the two lawyers on Monday.
Legal fraternity has been protesting against the killing of two lawyers, and observed a countrywide protest on Tuesday.
According to Geo News, the SHOs and inspectors across the district have been submitting their resignation since Thursday morning against the DPO’s removal.
The DPO , however, urged the police officers not to stop their work over his removal from the post.
