Musharraf asks Mustafa Kamal to join APML
KARACHI: Former military ruler General (retd) Pervez Mushraff has contacted former Karachi mayor and MQM leader Mustafa Kamal, asking him to join his party the All Pakistan Muslim League (APML).
Sources said Musharraf on Wednesday called Mustafa Kamal and suggested him to take part in Pakistan’s politics, especially Karachi.

Sources said Musharraf on Wednesday called Mustafa Kamal and suggested him to take part in Pakistan’s politics, especially Karachi.
Musharaf also directed his APML workers to meet Mustafa Kamal in Dubai. Responding to media reports, Mustafa Kamal said he had no intention to rejoin politics for the time being.
Kamal, however, refuted the report saying he has no plans of joining any political party or partaking in Pakistani politics.
