ISLAMABAD: The Opposition is utterly against probable change in China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route, said Khursheed Shah on Wednesday.
Talking to Geo News exclusively here, the opposition leader in the National Assembly and PPP stalwart Khursheed Shah said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has convened an All Parties Conference tomorrow (Thursday) to develop consensus on CPEC. He said, “The opposition will strive to convince the government on its view point.”
Shah warned that if the opposition stance was not accepted in Thursday’s meeting, there remained a chance of dire consequences.
According to Shah, PPP Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Mehmood Khan Achakxai, Asfandayar Wali, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and other political leaders besides chief ministers of the four provinces will participate in the APC.
