Helmet mandatory for Karachi motorcyclists, says DIG traffic
KARACHI: Wearing helmet would become mandatory for motorcycle riders in the metropolis effective from June 1, DIG Traffic Ameer Sheikh said on Tuesday.
In a statement issued here, Sheikh said strict action would be taken against violators of the traffic rule from June 1. Those travelling along with the rider are also compelled to wear helmets, he added.

The rule has been made mandatory in accordance with the Motorcycle Safety Ordinance.
